About Him It wasn't really Mad Eye teaching DADA that year. It was Barty Crouch Jr, who was pretending to be Mad Eye after ingesting Polyjuice Potion for almost a whole year. When you think about it is really disgusting. The thing is Barty Jr was so good he fooled everyone. Everyone the all knowing and seeing *I think* Dumbledore.
Barty Jr & Mad Eye are both listed as having taught the class.
It seems that Moody has gotten over some of his paranoia because in the "Order of the Phoenix" he's working for the order's Advanced Guard.
