Scholastic has their Harry Potter page updated with Order of the Phoenix info.
Or it will be on June 21st.
Everyone around the world will be sharing some of the same experiences come Saturday, June 21st, 12 am... right?
How about we all share them in the same place... I'm setting up a site/page to do that. I'm definitely taking pcitures of the crazy lines and people and stuff. I want other people to do the same thing - share their pictures and wait in line, (or your front door for some folks,) would be greatly appreciated. I regret not taking pictures when I worked at Borders when GoF came out... I didn't work that Friday night, but I worked the next morning. It was crazy. One kid was the first person in line at the door at 7am.

St. Mungo's - It's A Madhouse
Am I the only person that thinks that the house of Slytherins are synonymous with modern Goths? Let's say that we were all in highschool again, where would the Slytherins be eatting their lunch? I'll tell you where... they'd be sitting in the library quad eatting their lunch with the goth kids. Or depending on when you went to highschool the mods.
Amazon.com has an interview up with Scholastic's Harry Potter illustrator. Amazon also has some of her previous Harry Potter illustrations up.
She notes that one of her favorite illustrators is none other than the wonderful Maurice Sendak - woohoo! He's also one of my favorites. I've had his book "The Art of Maurice Sendak" on my wishlist forever.
wee hours of the morning posting this & checking email
A punk band called the Switchblade Kittens have a song called "Ode to Harry Potter". Head over there and download the free MP3.
